Privacy Policy

Short version: this is a reading site. We collect as little as possible and sell none of it.

What is collected

• Server logs. Our host records ordinary request data — IP address, browser and device type, page requested, time. Used for security and to keep the site running, then discarded on a rolling basis.
• Aggregate traffic counts. We look at which pages get read, in aggregate. Nothing in that view identifies an individual.
• Email you send us. Kept for as long as it takes to deal with your message, and no longer.

What is not collected

No accounts, no logins, no newsletter, no payment details, no advertising profiles built from your visit. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data — there is no arrangement under which that could happen.

Cookies and third parties

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Web fonts are served by a third-party font provider, so your browser makes a request to that provider when a page loads; block it and the site still reads correctly. Links to hotel websites lead to services with their own policies, which we do not control.

Browse with cookies disabled, use your browser's blocking features, or read through a VPN — none of this breaks anything here. To ask what we hold about you, to have an email exchange deleted, or to opt out of anything described above, write to editor@arcanesodyssey.com and we will act on it.
